Ryszard Tadeusz Ptaszyński was born in Warsaw in 1944.
Graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów.
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
In 1969 he was a student trainee at L'Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Obtained his diploma in 1972 in the studio of Prof. Julian Pałka.
