Patrycja Piętka often uses the motif of night and vanitas associated with passing in her work. Her series of paintings evoke feelings of melancholy and anxiety in the viewer. She captures the emotionality of nature in a sensitive way. She also draws her inspiration from film culture, following the psychology of the characters and the specificity of building tension, symbolism and understatement hidden in the layers of reality.
