The painting depicts two villas, pensions "Tatrzanska" and "Witoldówka" in Krynica located on the Kryniczanka stream near the spa promenade. Both villas burned down, but were rebuilt in the style of the original buildings - the "Tatrzanska" villa was completed in days.
On the reverse side of the painting are three imprints of Nikifor's author's seals in the type Round Seal II and Rectangular Small Seal - the imprints are from the original seals.
The painting was probably created around 1960 of the 20th century and shows characteristics of the artist's workshop typical of his late, already declining creative period.
