He started painting in the 1970s. He debuted with a large solo exhibition at the 'ART' Gallery in Warsaw. Since then he has regularly exhibited his paintings at home and abroad. In a technicized world full of violence, people long for the world of fairy tales as never before. Bonaventura's paintings depict just such a world. There is a mood of peace and harmony in his paintings. Figures suspended in the skies, unreal are full of inner warmth and serenity. Bizarre and fantastic, this world is depicted in colors of yellow and red which further warms the painting. The music of the cosmic spheres that surrounds it, the radiation of light and space complement this other dimension, which we intuitively sense.
