Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and Katowice, received his diploma in 1962. He was a member of the Arkat art group from 1967-1968 and a co-founder of the Onerion art group in 1967. Between 1967 and 1970 he ran galleries and organized theoretical meetings. In 1978-1991 he was in the United States, where he went on a Kosciuszko Foundation scholarship. In 1991, the artist took part in the exhibition "We are" in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery, while in 1992 a retrospective exhibition of his works was held at the BWA in Katowice. He has been involved in painting, drawing, graphic design, stage design and installation.
