Jaroslaw Filipek- Graduated in architecture from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He studied painting and drawing in the studios of Franciszek Maśluszczak, Andrzej Bieńkowski, Jacek Sempoliński and Henryk Dąbrowski. He lives and creates in Izabelin in the Kampinos Forest and in Andalusian Jerez de la Frontera.
He realizes his works in cycles. His fascination with landscape is particularly evident in his watercolor paintings. PEJZAŻ POLSKI is a notebook of travels, painterly memories of places fascinated by the beauty of Nature. The watercolors are saturated with light and mood. The works are characterized by insightful observation of nature in different seasons of the year. Kampinos Forest is the place where I live and work. The national park with its diverse landscapes: dunes, wetlands, meadows, floodplains and streams is a constant source of painterly inspiration.
