Piotr GOLA (born 1985).
An architect by education. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. Art is his passion.
His work oscillates around symbolism, surrealism, abstractionism and expressionism. The artist very often uses symbols in his works. Characters, objects, colors are a logically designed whole, hiding the content hidden in them. You can see the care that his works spoke to the viewer, told about life, people, experiences, processes and were not just a "dry" record of the surrounding reality. As the artist himself says his art is a world of thoughts, dreams and fantasies. His works are a record of visions and ideas, which he draws from life and observation of himself and people.
The artist uses a vivid, expressive color palette and likes to combine different color combinations - blues, reds, pinks, purples, greens. He tries to make the colors used as much as possible to please the human eye .Black in his works gives depth and mystery. Sometimes the figures seem to emerge , emerge from the dark background as if hidden, hidden somewhere further away. He creates in oil technique as well as enjoys using digital techniques. Piotr Gola's works can be found in private collections at home and abroad.
