Pawel Lekawa, born in 1992, is a contemporary Polish artist. Initially, he was mainly passionate about the graphic form, but over time it was easel painting that became his means of expression, to which he devoted all his attention. The paintings he creates are a mixture of realism, figuratism and symbolism. They are characterized by attention to detail and every element of his work. He likes to play with accepted customs, surprise the viewer and provoke. His works are a personal reflection on the world, characterized by symbolism, humor and questions about the condition of modern man. His work explores social, existential and dystopian themes. In her latest series, she focuses on the impact of new technologies on personal life and the subjugation of life to social media rules. He draws inspiration from pop culture, street art, reportage and current events. His paintings have been seen in solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
