Marian Michalik (1947 Zabrze - 1997 Czestochowa)
He referred to the Dutch masters of still lifes of the 17th century, giving his paintings a mood of magical realism. He precisely reproduced banal everyday objects, tools, fruits of nature, etc., and then created their unusual juxtapositions
He graduated from the High School of Visual Arts in Czestochowa. He devoted himself to painting, improving on his own.
In 1979, he became a member of the Association of Polish Artists.
In 1987 he became a member of the European Academy of Art, Science and Literature in Paris.
He participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad, including Japan, Monaco, Austria, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and the United States.
He died tragically in a car accident, having survived for only 50 years.
