Henadzy graduated from the Mashrev University in Vitebsk, Belarus, with a master's degree in Painting and Printmaking ( 1987 - 1992). From his teacher and mentor, Valentina Liahovich, he received what is most important - a sense of freedom in creation. He currently lives and works in Vitebsk, a city that has become famous worldwide as the birthplace or work place of such prominent avant-gardists as Chagall, Kandinsky, Malevich, who have been a source of inspiration for Henadziy for years.
The artist draws a lot from his numerous travels, this is how such diverse landscapes, abstractions, inspired by the unique colors of different corners of the world are created. Henadzy is an exploratory artist who is eager to experiment with new painting techniques, challenging himself all the time. The predominant technique is oil on canvas executed with spatulas and brushes. Henadzij's style is characterized by bold lines, shapes and colors. He never assumes at the outset what the work will look like; he reiterates that it is the painting as he paints that dictates every next step. Abstraction has not always been the artist's favorite style; expressing oneself through this type of painting required changes from the inside out and the formation of one's own view of the world. Henadzy believes that this process is endless and evolves with the artist's life. His works do not place any limitations on the observer and do not indicate a specific point of view, rather they encourage the creation of one's own story, freedom to imagine, thus allowing one to interpret art through one's own feelings and emotions.
Every year he participates in international art plein-airs in Poland and Slovakia, which gives him new impressions and a pleasant atmosphere of communication with other artists.
His works are in numerous private collections in Poland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, France, UK, USA and other countries.
