Biography
Painter, printmaker and educator. He was a member of the Society of Polish Artists Art, groups: Prism and Zwornik. He studied in Ryazan in 1918-23, as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under F. S. Kowarski and J. Pankiewicz (in 1923-29) He also studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in 1929-33. He participated in the exhibitions of Pryzmat and Zwornik at home and abroad, and after World War II in all major national exhibitions and the Lublin district. He was an assistant to F. S. Kowarski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and also taught at the school of drawing and painting in Lublin and at the high school of fine arts in Naleczow. He painted mainly landscapes and still lifes with flowers.
