"I am "turned on" by the black stories of the Expressionists: Kirchner, Munch or Nolde. It is a source of inspiration for me and an energy that makes me constantly want to be a painter. I paint while listening to "The Rolling Stones" because, like them, the role of outsider and rebel suits me. I don't want to be fashionable, and I have no desire to identify with modernity - i.e.: politics, technological advances and questionable customs - Zdzislaw Nitka.
