acrylic on canvas, 80,00 x 90,00 cm
Born in 1950 in Lodz, Poland. In 1978 he graduated with honors from the WSSP Wł. Strzemińskiego in Łódź at the Faculty of Graphics and the Faculty of Industrial Forms Design. He was a student of Prof. Stanisław Fijałkowski, Aleksander Hałat, Marian Jeshke. From 1980 to 2015, he ran his own studio of artistic jewelry, which won recognition at international exhibitions and fairs such as: Amberiff or ZSC. Participant in many group and individual exhibitions. His paintings are in private collections in Poland, Canada, Great Britain, and several works have been purchased by the Museum of Modern Art in Lodz. Lenart's painting is a journey "in search of the boundaries of endless chaos"-as he says himself. His conceptual formula telling about the interpenetration of micro and macro worlds indicates that the thesis he proclaims, that abstraction as such does not exist, seems to have support in his painting. He himself says that everything depends on the form of perception and the way of analyzing the surrounding reality. Lenart's paintings are certainly a feast for lovers of excellent technique. The lace and precision in forming color patches used by the artist inspires admiration. Although he himself believes that decorativeness is not a special quality of good art, in this case we are dealing with works in which color and texture are definitely decorative. Lenart's paintings, however, mostly have an allusive message, often contained in the titles of the works. This indicates exceptional insight in observing the world around us.
