Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1954. He participated in more than 200 group exhibitions and 42 individual exhibitions at home and abroad. He is also the recipient of many prestigious awards. He is a contemplative artist. His gentle color scheme, maintained in similar tones, avoids sharp color combinations. At the same time, what is striking in these paintings is the great attention to the composition of the planes, which are the main element organizing the space. The artist's favorite technique was pastel.
