Zbigniew Olszyna (1980) - graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts. Władysław Strzemiński in Łódź. He lives and works in Lodz. He works in painting, drawing and photography.


"Painting for me is the power to create a universe full of personal symbols, in which the viewer, through the prism of his experiences, can discover the content that interests him. When creating my compositions, I subconsciously feel what is important to me at a given moment, so I rely on my intuition when working on a painting. However, I try to be attentive to every fleeting thought, which often becomes a seed that sprouts into something bigger. I look for connections between the creations of man and the organic nature, welding them into dreamlike compositions where abstraction and figuration intermingle and complement each other on many levels.In painting I am attracted to the aura of mystery, strangeness, the clash of opposing poles and the duality of all things."
