oil, collage, canvas, 100 x 150 cm (6 canvases 50 x 50 cm); signed and dated p. d.: W. SIUDMAK 67.
Recognizable works of Wojciech Siudmak are hyperrealistic and at the same time fantastic representations associated with the art of the Surrealists - Salvador Dali and Rene Magritt. However, before the artist defined his characteristic aesthetics, he studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts from 1961 to 1966. The 1960s was at the same time the time of the constitution of the Polish School of Poster. It can be thought that the presented polyptych is part of the form developed by Warsaw poster artists at the time, which, for example, was used by Rosława Szaybo.
