Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow from 1976 to 1981. The painter's works are in the collections of min. National Museum in Cracow, Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom, the Main Library of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He is the author of 50 individual exhibitions of painting and has participated in more than 100 collective exhibitions both at home and abroad.
He has also published 6 volumes of his diary: Painter's Journal (Krakow 2002), Untitled (Krakow 2004), Długa Street (Krakow 2005), Untitled 2 (Krakow 2006), Year 2006 (Krakow 2007), 2007 (Krakow 2008).
