Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1948-54, receiving his diploma in the studio of H. Rudzka-Cybis. From 1953-96 he worked as a teacher at his alma mater. 1980-86 and 1993-96 he was its rector. At the end of the 1950s, he exhibited with the MARG group. Since 1966, a member of the Organizing Committee of the International Biennale of Printmaking in Cracow, in this decade and the next, he was known mainly for his lithographic compositions combined with collage and drawing.
