Painter, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of E. Eibisch, J. Fedkowicz and W. Taranczewski, diploma in 1953. He was for many years chairman of the Artistic Council of Painters in the Board of the District ZPAP in Katowice, member of the group "Arkat". He lived and worked in Katowice. The artist is an accomplished colorist, a recurring motif in his paintings are theater interiors, concert halls, cafes, meeting places of refined, elegant women.
