Witold Palka's colorful paintings are recognizable and full of positive expression. The artist was particularly fond of immortalizing multi-character scenes from entertaining cultural events - balls, dansings, concerts.
The featured image shows a symphony orchestra during a performance. In the lower left corner is visible the silhouette of the conductor, who is leading the activities of the musicians in a dynamic pose. At the lower edge of the picture field are silhouettes of the audience seated in the front row. The entire scene is set in a tall, elegant hall with dark red walls, impressive glass windows and a delightfully opulent chandelier.
