The artist was born in Gdynia in 1959 and currently lives and works in Lublewo. The artist recalls that he created his first paintings when he was still a nine-year-old. For the first time, his works were exhibited in 1996 at the White Axe Gallery. However, he considers 1997 to be a turning point in his career, when he experienced clinical death during an operation, an experience that affected both his personal life and all his mature work. The artist expressively applies oil paint to large-format canvases, so that his works are characterized by great dynamism, the impression of movement and vibration. The artist has presented his works to international audiences at the National Museum in Kaliningrad (2002), Galerie Alteschiberkamer in Vienna (2006), Gallery Bamberg (2006), among others. About his passion for painting he wrote: "When I paint I feel and see the beauty of the whole world and the immensity of the mysterious cosmos. I feel the smell of paints, the flickering of colors. Painting is a fulfillment for me, which I have always aspired to. I am fulfilled in myself. Painting is love, joy, challenge, music, breath and respite - until I run out of words to convey my fascination with creating. It's a miracle and I love this miracle more than anything."
