Weronika Raczynska (born 1978)
From 1997 to 2002 - higher education at the Faculty of Painting at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. She studied in
Painting Studio led by Prof. Antoni Fałat and in the Painting Studio of Prof. Barbara Szubinska, under whose
direction she completed her diploma work in painting; she made an annex in artistic printmaking in the Studio of Metal Techniques
Etched by Prof. Ryszard Osadczy. She received her diploma in painting with honors in 2002 (Master of Arts). In
2008-2010 - postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She studied
in the Painting Studio of Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk, under whose direction she completed her diploma thesis in painting; annex
from drawing she did in the Drawing Studio of Prof. Marek Szymanski. She defended her diploma thesis in painting, and the annex in drawing,
in 2010. 2003 - nomination for an award at the 4th Jacek Malczewski Self-portrait Triennial. 2005 - finalist
painting competition of the Franciszka Eibisch Foundation. Since 2002 she has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists
(Warsaw District) and the International Association of Art UNESCO. She has had 15 individual exhibitions of painting and participated
in more than 50 collective exhibitions of painting, as well as graphics and drawing, in Poland, as well as in France, Slovakia,
Switzerland and Italy. Weronika Raczynska's paintings can be found in private collections in Poland, including the
collection of the former President of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski, as well as abroad, including
the Philippines, Switzerland, Ukraine, the USA and the UK.
