"(...) the drawing and painting works are built on the basis of the "golden number" [fi] (being 1.61803...), which is derived from the harmonic division and ratio of segment lengths, known and used in antiquity, and described in mathematics by the so-called Fibonacci sequence of numbers at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. "Golden division" (Latin: sectio aurea) defined on the basis of the "divine proportion", is also considered a symbolic code for building nature. We can read its values, for example, in the structure of plants, the spiral form of shells or in the proportions of the structure of the human body and animals. It guarantees a balanced harmony, perceived by man in terms of balance, beauty or even perfection (...)".
