Stanislaw Walach, painter, began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1938. Unfortunately, they were interrupted by the war, forcing the artist to study at the Institute of Fine Arts. After the war, he earned his graduation diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Professor Jerzy Fedkowicz. Walach's work developed in three directions: monumental painting, secular and sacred representations, and realizations of large-scale exhibitions. He participated in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Czechoslovakia (1947), Berlin, Budapest, Moscow (1959) and Austria, China, France, Greece, West Germany (1978).
