In 1995 she began, and in 2000 she graduated and received her master's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.She was a lecturer at the Multimedia and Video Studio of the Phobos School of Photography, and a member of the Association of the International Graphic Arts Triennial in Krakow. She was the originator and organizer of the "Reaktor" Group. Since 2005, she has been running the Viola Tycz Studio/Gallery.
