She was born in Warsaw, Poland. From 2004 to 2009 she studied at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. She earned a diploma in Painting (honorable mention) from Prof. A. Fałat, and an annex in drawing from Prof. F. Starowieyski. She continued her education at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw. Where she defended her diploma in the Portrait Studio under Prof. I. Jaroszewska. From 2016 to 2019 she co-founded the creative duo drzeWO. The main theme of the artist's works is a human being treated as a painting material, rather than as a stereotypical object of psychological observation. The human body fascinates the artist because of its mysteriousness, timelessness, spiritual element, and universal dimension. Pawlowska experiments with technique, uses standard working tools in an unconventional way.
