The portrait was created in the autumn of 2021. It represents a collective image of real and fictional heroines and refers to the cinema of the 1990s.
"I am influenced by a lot of things - stimuli come from all sides, and the moment of choice is intuitive. Often the meaning of a painting comes to me only in the process of painting. Cinema is an illusion, which we accept as an alternative reality. It seems to me that I have always been able to tune myself to look at reality or film as potential images. I'm interested in what happens when the temporality of cinema/reality is interrupted and explored through the traces of paint, as well as the narrative that unfolds within the image."
