German-Belgian contemporary artist. She creates paintings, sculptures, installations and spatial objects. She received her artistic education in 1979 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kassel. She studied under Prof. Manfred Bluth, co-founder of the Schule der Neuen Prächtigkeit, and Prof. Tom J. Gramse, a participant in documenta 6. Ulrike Bolenz regularly presents her works in solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe and abroad. Among other things, she created a series of portraits of influential politicians commissioned by Diplomatic World magazine. Her works are in many museum collections, including the National Museum in Kiev and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow (MMOMA). She has been honored with numerous distinctions and awards for her original work. In 2021 in Kiev, she was the winner of the first international competition "The Best Artist In The Field Of Contemporary Art, Abstractionism and Sciarsism." Since 1995, the artist has lived and worked in Brussels.
