"The interiors of Tomasz Tatarczyk's permanent studios, in Meczmierz and Warsaw, were filled not only with paintings and all workshop equipment, but also with favorite pictures, postcards and his drawings hanging on the walls. Tomek drew a lot, but in public these drawings did not seem to be shown. They varied in format, material and technique. [For Tatarczyk, they were primarily records of the seen. He never worked outdoors, but it was nature that fascinated him the most."
