Watercolor, gouache, pen, 20 x 28 cm, Signature (obverse) p.g. corner "Wędrówka dusz" T. Sętowski.

Tomek Sętowski's works on paper are highly sought after by collectors and early investors, due to their small size and bargain (compared to oil paintings) price. Often done in mixed technique, they contain surrealistic elements typical of this artist's paintings and supplementation with color using gouache, acrylic paint or watercolor.

This is an interesting proposition for those who want to own an original work by Tomek Sętowski as an alternative to the much more expensive oil paintings and repetitive Inkographs.

Tomasz Sętowski - one of the most interesting representatives of contemporary art in Poland, is a visual artist, a graduate of the H. Sienkiewicz IV High School in Częstochowa and the Częstochowa Academy of Fine Arts. He is the author of paintings, which have been presented in individual and collective exhibitions in the best Polish and foreign galleries, such as Gallery of Contemporary Art and Auction House Koneser.art in Warsaw, Anna Kareńska in Poznan and Stricoff Fine Art Ltd. and InterArt in New York. His works are recognized by art critics and the public, as the artist skillfully combines artistic qualities with the needs of the market. Among others, Sętowski participated in the group exhibition "Polish Surrealists" during the Triennale "Sacrum". The artist is known for painting using a traditional method: oil on canvas, but in recent years he has increasingly presented prints based on oil paintings. Sętowski is counted among the creators of the trend known as "magic realism," and his works are in the collections of well-known figures such as Teresa Zylis-Gary and Boguslaw Kaczynski. In his artistic career, Tomasz "Senti" Sętowski has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "Polish Surrealists" at the "Sacrum" Triennale. In addition, his paintings have adorned the covers of books, such as "Ship" by Waldemar Lysiak. Despite the fact that, as a rule, he does not participate in art competitions, he is a respected artist with an international reputation. In recent years, the artist also presents occasional sculptures, which are another interesting interpretation of his works. Tomasz Sętowski is an esteemed Polish artist whose works are in important private collections, such as those of Teresa Zylis-Gary and Boguslaw Kaczynski. His paintings have also adorned the covers of books and magazines. Exhibitions of his works attract crowds of visitors and are highly regarded by the public, as evidenced by the award for the cultural event of the year in Częstochowa granted by the readers of Gazeta Wyborcza for the exhibition "Tomasz Sętowski's Magic Theater" at the Municipal Art Gallery. His work can be admired at exhibitions held in prestigious galleries and auction houses, such as the Gallery of Contemporary Art and the Auction House Koneser.art. In 2000 Tomasz Sętowski was awarded the title "Artist of the 20th Century in Częstochowa" by a chapter composed of political and cultural figures. Tomasz Sętowski's works are in high demand. One example is his involvement in charitable activities, where he donates his works to selected organizations every year. In 2000, one of the largest publishing houses in Poland, MUZA S.A., released the album "Sętowski - Magic Theater," presenting the artist's works from the last five years. Sętowski is also a well-known artist internationally. In 2006-2008, he presented his works at Burij Al Arab, Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation and Emirat Towers in Dubai, where he received public acclaim. It is also worth mentioning that the brand chapter of Rolls Royce gave him the title of ambassador for one of the models of this luxury car brand. Sętowski's paintings can be found in many significant private and museum collections, including the Maritime Museum in Gdansk and the Museum of Fantastic Art in Switzerland.
