Painter, graphic artist. In 1929 he graduated with a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, in 1938 from the PIRR in Warsaw. In 1944, at the University of Budapest, he received his doctorate from the Department of Philosophy. He traveled extensively in France, Belgium, Great Britain, Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia, among other countries. Since 1929 he was active in teaching both in Budapest, Cracow and Warsaw, and published many historical and literary works, textbooks, dictionaries. His works, mainly watercolors, but also textural compositions, were exhibited in the Gallery of Modern Art, Krakow, Washington, New York, Warsaw and many Hungarian galleries.
