Painter, photographer, also does graphic design, lives and works in Podlasie, on the edge of the Knyszyn Forest. He received his diploma in 1978 in the studio of Prof. Maksymilian Kasprowicz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In the same year, he represented the Academy at the "Diploma of the Year" exhibition Zachęta - Warsaw. In 2012, he received a doctorate from the Faculty of New Media and Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Among other things, he lectures at the Bialystok University of Technology in the Art Department of the Faculty of Architecture. His work is based on careful observation of the simplest elements of plants, flowers and trees, bringing the study of detail and structure to almost abstract forms. His works are an intimate, personal and emotional tribute to nature. He gives the classic technique of painting on canvas a contemporary, dynamic expression. Tadeusz Niescier's works have been exhibited at the Palazzo dei Priori Museum, Volterra, Italy, Pignano Art Gallery, Volterra Italy, Alphonse Karny Sculpture Museum in Bialystok and the Old Bath Art Gallery, among others. His paintings are in many collections in Poland as well as abroad mainly in Italy, France Switzerland or the USA, among others.

"My painting (...) is an attempt to record what exists around me. The place where I live and work is submerged in nature. Gardens, fields, meadows and wilderness are my whole world - changeable, ephemeral... yet eternal... as important as man. I am only a tiny part of this world, so I dare to get a little closer to it and try to understand it. Since I have absolutely no objective tools for this I am, in a sense, still painting a portrait of my own emotions, depending entirely on nature. I can't and don't want to be outside of it and without it."
