Biography
In 1983-84 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He continued his artistic education at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he received his diploma in the atelier of Prof. Stefan Gierowski in 1988. In 1987 he was the author of a monumental painting on the supports and pillars of the Grot-Rowecki Bridge in Warsaw. For this work he received the H. Stażewski Award, for the best painting arrangement in space, awarded by the Egit Foundation. In the same year, he made his debut at an exhibition organized by A. Bonarski at the former Norblin Works in Warsaw. In 1989, he began working with the Zderzak Gallery in Cracow. Between 1989 and 1998 he collaborated with the Spicchi dell'Este Gallery in Rome. His works were exhibited at R. Ziarkiewicz's "Paradise Lost" exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (1990).
