Stanislaw Baj, River Bug - Dawn

Born in 1953 in Dolhobrody in Podlasie region. He works in painting, printmaking and drawing. Since 1982, he has been a lecturer at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied. He received his diploma in the studio of Prof. Ludwik Maciąg In his work, he often returns to his roots, making his family and neighbors from his hometown, as well as nature, the protagonists of his works. Nature in Baja's work is static but impressive, enticing with the greenery of vegetation and the mirrored surface of trees. He has been awarded the Silver Medal "Meritorious to Culture Gloria Artis" for his contributions to Polish art, among others. His considerable artistic achievements have been recognized both in Poland and internationally.
