Biography
Sergey Malyshevsky (1956 - 2020, Moscow) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Minsk, where he studied under Vladimir Stelmashonok. From 1988 to 1991 he was a member of the association "Pluralis", since 1990 a member of the painting section of the Union of Artists of Belarus, and since 2004 also a member of the International Guild of Painters and the creative association "Artel". Malishevsky's work is closest to surrealism and magical realism. It is characterized by complex forms. Symbolic content, references to mythology or religious motifs appear in his paintings.
