(...) Serge Vasilendiuc operates with sign, metaphor, and encapsulates in his paintings the kind of reflection that an icon has. Refined in its restraint, the color range harmonizes with the discipline of composition. The philosophical and meditative nature of this painting is also emphasized by world critics... [Jolanta Antecka].
(...) Order and emotion. In the gallery "Prism" of ZPAP I stopped stopped stopped by the strong aura emanating from dozens of canvases. I entered this unusual reality. Surely I had already seen some painting by Serge Vasilendiuc before, I had paid attention to his high artistic culture - but now the landscapes warm even in the moonlight - well, they took me in.... Serge Vasilendiuc brings whole suitcases of the painting tradition of the South, assembles them from the basements to the rafters, and without fear of being slandered for fraternizing with the post-cubists, paints peaceful landscapes with a touch of cartoonish conventionality, full of, generally speaking, harmony. But underneath this nice, good melody pulses rhythm. And it is he who bursts the frames. Without bursting them. That's what art is. [Marek Soltysik]
