Born in 1931 in Radom. Doctor of humanities at the University of Gdansk. Painter, theatrologist, cultural critic. Since 1976 he has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists. In 1980-87 he served as director of EL Gallery. Associated with the city of Elblag since 1953, he is the founder and president of the Elblag Cultural Society. Author of more than 30 literary books, he is a regular contributor to numerous literary magazines.
