Ryszard Kwiecień, alias K-100, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1956. He worked in painting, artistic textiles and printmaking. In 1981?1986 he was a contract docent at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, then head of the Artistic Textile Studio. He participated in more than 150 collective and individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He won an award at the International Triennial of Textiles in Boat (1975), and was also a recipient of the Award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. His works are in museum collections and private collections.
