Born in 1955. Graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1980. He has held 45 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group shows, where he received more than a dozen awards and honors. He deals mainly with painting, for some time, while realizing individual presentations, he constructs them thematically, closing the works into cycles. The more important of these are: "Metropolis", "Dream Factory", "Miscellaneous City", "There...", "Haven". , "World without us." In the 1990s, he briefly engaged in performance and art objects, working with the group " 4" (M. Kamienski, R. Kalarus, L. Jaszczuk). In addition to artistic and didactic practice in the circle of his interests is art theory. In 1993-2001 he co-edited the cultural magazine "Options". His artistic output also includes short stories and poetry published in national literary magazines and radio plays.
