Roch Urbaniak (b. 1986), Mimir's Well, 2020

In 2011 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. With his art he wants to tell stories, for which he draws inspiration from his travels, myths, legends and pop culture in the broadest sense. He wants each painting to be an exciting adventure for the viewer, a story that he can discover and experience in his own way. He also uses painting in other forms of expression, creating comic books or using paintings as illustrations in two parts of the books in the Papermaker series.
