Robert Wałęka. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, diploma in 2009. In 2010 he received the Artistic Scholarship of the City of Warsaw. His works are in the collection of the CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw and in private collections. Participant of many exhibitions, individual and collective. He works in painting, drawing, creates assemblages, collages, installations and painting objects as well as poetry and audio poetry. At the beginning of his artistic activity, in the 1990s, he focused mainly on painting and activity in the field of street art. In art, he is a promoter of the theory of the absurd, which he realizes and expresses with the so-called absurdism or absurd realism. Creator of new realities, meanings, contents, especially within painting. In the unique circle of his interests in the field of visual arts lies the formation, creation of a distinguished image of the modern world. He is an artist on the move, leaving the remains of associations, consciously renounces the creation of a distinctive, uniform style of his own works in order to avoid subordination to certain currents of contemporary art.
