Robert Gebethner - Artist born in 1950 in Warsaw, Poland. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the faculty of painting. He received his diploma in painting in 1975 in the studio of Prof. Jonasz Stern, and in mural painting in the studio of Prof. Janina Krauppe-Świderska. In 1976-77 and 1980 he was a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Culture and Art. In 2006, he received the badge of honor "Meritorious for Polish Culture." He is active in the fields of painting, drawing and illustration. He is a co-founder of the creative group "Bok Wyspa". His works are in private collections at home and abroad. He has participated in dozens of national and international exhibitions.
