Ryszard Skupin (1930 - 2005) is a sculptor, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, creator of monumental monumental sculptures realized in the city, who, after studying at the Academy in Marseille, successfully realized himself as a painter and graphic artist. His numerous paintings, especially landscapes from southern Europe, which he visited in his artistic peregrinations, were very popular with the public. Still lifes and flower compositions are an equally frequent theme in his work, which evolved from a similar subject to the one presented here, to fully realistic depictions in the spirit of the still lifes of the Dutch masters.
