Ryszard "Irys" Jaworski (1947-2012) - poet, writer, bard, cabaret artist, actor, painter. He lived and worked in Jawor in Lower Silesia, where he became a legend for many during his lifetime. He has his own square there, which has been named the Richard Irys Jaworski Square.
