Studied painting from 1945-1950 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under the direction of Fryderyk Pautsch, Ignacy Pieńkowski, Zygmunt Radnicki and Czesław Rzepiński. During World War II, conspiratorial activist, prisoner of Buchenwald and Auschwitz camps. 9220/12
