Biography
Piotr Strelnik received his artistic education under the tutelage of Teresa Pągowska at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. However, while still a student, he left the academy and focused on finding his own style. In the early 1980s, he moved to Paris, where he still lives and works today. His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions. One of the most important was held in 1989 at the famous Bateau-Lavoir. Strelnik's paintings could also be seen in 1992 in the Découverte rooms at the Grand Palais in Paris and in 1996 at the Galerie d'Orsay. Strelnik also participated several times in the world's largest salon of works on paper "Works on Paper" at ARMORY in New York.
