Artist painter professor of fine arts. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He received his diploma in easel painting in the painting studio of Professor Mieczyslaw Wisniewski. He currently works at his alma mater as a professor and since 2005 has been the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at UMK. He deals with painting, drawing and printmaking. He was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art. His works can be found, among others, in the collections of the District Museum in Torun, the Museum of Art at Majdanek in Lublin, the Museum in Grudziadz as well as in the collection of the Ministry of Culture and Art in Warsaw and in private collections In Poland and abroad.
