Piotr Drobiecki (1930-2003) - graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1957 under the direction of Adam Marczyński. A member of ZPAP since 1958, he participated in many exhibitions at BWA in Tarnow, the Autumn Salon of TPSP in Cracow, Pecs and Vesprem in Hungary. He painted almost exclusively watercolor landscapes, although he did occasionally paint oil portraits and watercolor nudes, usually with deep, distant horizons, almost panoramas, seen from high points, using dense and rich painting matter
