Pinchus Krémègne (1890-1981). He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilna. There he met Chaim Soutine and Michel Kikoine. Krémegne moved to Paris in 1912 and settled in the notorious La Ruche in Montparnassie. The painter revolved among the city's artistic bohemia. He created landscapes, portraits and still lifes, in which he paid particular attention to color qualities and expressive, dynamic line.
