Piotr Malysz about himself: my first paintings were created in the early 1990s. Both then and now my inspiration is lands and places that probably do not exist. Often in my works also appears a man, or rather something like him. For some time now, fossils boulders and all sorts of rocks or scattered stones have occupied a very important place in my vision of the world. Their shapes, structure and mysteriousness, hardness and at the same time softness are the basis of my works at the moment. It is precisely these undefined shapes intermingled and blended into the background that are the content of my paintings.
